There is No Such Thing as Writers Block! (WTF?!)

So I have come to the realization that there is, indeed, no such thing as writers block.

No there isn't.

Shut your face.

I'm sure you do.

I'm preparing myself for NaNoWriMo and this issue/fear has been brought up many times in my Writing Club. We're all good writers; we just want to create something AMAZING, something that will jump off the page! And pulling something out of our asses isn't really what we all have in mind.

I used to think that I got this invisible disease. I would be on a roll one night, typing away in my own little world, feeling quite pleased with myself... When suddenly, out of nowhere...

BAM!!!!

WritersBlockWTF!?! Where did you come from?!

And it was that day that I became so frustrated I wrote anyways. Even though this mental state of mind had me convinced that nothing good could come out of it. I had thought that writing during "writers block" would doom my story and its grammatical awesomeness, but for the moment I had to force myself not to care. ;]

10 minutes later... I was cured!

That's just it! There is no such thing as writers block.
It's just the fear of writing poorly that really gets us.

My suggestion to you is to write anyways. Get rid of your own little expectations that you have for typing up a good paper/novel/story and you will find that it is possible to write. Of course once you're re-inspired and get yourself back on a roll, you can go back and revise and find that what you've written is actually the AMAZINGNESS that you had hoped it would be.
